This Saturday learn about the wines of the outstanding Farroria Giuseppe Savini winery located in Italy and meet Luca Papini who is the export director for Fattoria Savini. He will be joining us from Italy to showcase their wines that show the terrior of the region and are good values. Luca does a fabulous job educating about Abruzzo wines.
Fattoria Giuseppe Savini is located in Abruzzo, in the province of Teramo, and is strongly connected with the history and the nature of the territory. The winery spreads over around 70 hectares, of which 60 are destined to vineyards, and 10 to olive groves.
Strong attention is paid both to the indigenous grape varieties most typical of the area and to the international ones which have demonstrated that they are capable, as much as the historical ones from Abruzzo, to bestow the best qualities of such a unique territory. They specialize in production of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino and Pinot Grigio.
This tasting event is $7.00 for Non-Wine club members and $5.00 for wine club members. $5.00 will be REFUNDED with a 2/bottle purchase. All the Savini wines tasted on Saturday night will be discounted for the tasting event. A 6 bottle purchase will receive an additional 5% and a case purchase an additional 10% the total.
Come on out Saturday evening and meet Luca, sample his wines, learn about the winery and the area. Salute!
